About Doris Dalton
Founder and Chief Executive, Dalton Color Cosmetics

A wellness doctor turned Mrs. America, Doris Dalton has spent the past 18 years behind the scenes of the cosmetics universe helping some of America's best known brands with corporate training, business development, and strategy. Working closely with the QVC network she has become a well distinguished figure to the station, as well as an on air icon. Known for her unstoppable personality, customers tune in not only to find out what product she's bringing to the table, but for entertainment. Her sense of humor and genuine personality are two traits that keep her at the top of the charts when she airs.

Dalton was created shortly after Doris experienced a life changing event. In 2006 Doris was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Losing most of her eyebrow hair, she longed for natural looking and long lasting product that would cover where her brows had shed. After countless formulas, she created a product that not only looks completely natural, but nourishes and is long lasting. It was a hit from the moment it aired, selling out numerous times and still staying in demand until this day. Doris saw and relished in the the appreciation of her consumers. It was that altruistic appreciation that drove Dalton to further improve the cosmetic landscape.

After creating her first product, it was Doris' desire to innovate that lead her to create her line. With her academic grounding in anatomy, biology, and chemistry, she became convinced she could formulate a line that would be an alternative to cosmetics surgery.

Doris is dedicated to cutting edge formulation and packaging designs. After three years of developing it, Dalton introduced Fresh Coat™ Mascara a perfect introduction of Dalton to the beauty counter. Along with keeping your mascara fresh and contaminate free, the controlled wiping system allows you to dispense the perfect amount of mascara. Technology meets beauty.
Doris' vision never stops. Not only is her brand one of the most popular on QVC, Dalton cosmetics is experiencing double digit increases month after month for 2010. She's constantly reaching out to her customers for feedback and ideas. Her goal is to fix problems, not to create another "me-too" product.

Along with reaching out to the community, Doris is keen on giving back to them. She is also greatly involved with cancer support and research organizations and has given away tens of thousands of Brow fix to woman in need. To benefit breast cancer, Dalton's Pink Shades Hydrating Lip Gloss Trio was created, in which a donation is given to the Breast Cancer Society with each set sold. Doris is a survivor inspiration to many.

Dalton currently resides in Newtown, Pa with her family and three dogs, Max, Mandy, and Murph. She is an avid dog lover who has rescued each of her animals from the SPCA and is actively involved in several animal rescue organizations. All Dalton cosmetics proudly bare the cruelty free bunny and comply with all PETA regulations by not testing on animals or working with manufactures that show harm towards animals in any way.
